Queens Court Hotel Terms and Conditions

Free cancellation

Rooms may be cancelled without charge provided 48 hours notice of cancellation is given. If cancelled within 48 hours of the booking date one night’s accommodation will be charged at the pre booked rate. However, if you cancel within 48 hours and the Hotel are able to resell your room, then you will receive a full refund.

Any meeting(s) cancelled 15 working days before the actual meeting date will incur a 50% charge of the total cost of the booking, cancellation 5 working days prior to the meeting date will be liable for the total cost of the booking. Conference and Function food and Equipment must be pre ordered at least 5 working days prior to the event. This will also be subject to the 5 working day cancellation procedure.

Children and extra beds

All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing beds.

All children over 2 years are charged GBP 10 per person per night for children’s cots/cribs.

Taxes

All Rates include VAT at the current rate. A city tax is not applicable. A service charge is not applicable.

Check in and Check Out

Check in is 3pm and check out is 11am.

Car parking

A public pay and display car park is available in front of the hotel, parking is free between 6pm and 8am each day, approximate cost outside of these times is £2 per hour.  For further parking information please contact our Reception team on 01392 272709 or via email: enquiries@queenscourt-hotel.co.uk

The hotel does not accept any responsibility for damage to, or theft from, or theft of parked vehicles.

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the Hotel including guest bedrooms. If you are found to be smoking in your room a deep cleaning charge of £150.00 will be issued!

 However the outside patio with heaters is available for smokers.

Guest behaviour

The Hotel reserves the right to terminate a booking or stop any event immediately without being liable for any refund in the event of behavior considered by Management to be unacceptable.

No wines, spirits or beers may be brought into the Hotel by clients, their guests or representatives for consumption on the premises without the express consent of the Hotel for which a charge may be made.

The person/Company making the booking will be responsible for damage caused by themselves or their guests and will be charged for rectification.

Hotel liability

Other than death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Hotel, the Hotels liability to the client is limited to the price of the booking.

The Hotel does not accept any liability for loss or damage to guest’s property except to the extent covered under the Hotel Proprietors Act 1956
